One thing that all entrepreneurs we have in common is that we all want tools that will allow us to save time and help us in our day to day tasks. After seven years in business, I use and test several tools/software and I want share some of my favorites.
WordPress: Powerful website platform
Squarespace: I use this website platform for my website and I love it!!!!
Canva: Free online graphic tool easy to use to help you create blog graphics, social media images, business card...
PicMonkey: Free online photo editing tool. This tool is so easy to use and can help you editing your photo in second.
Pixlr: Free online photo editing tool. A great tool to create transparent backgrounds without Photoshop
Adobe Photoshop: If you want create beautiful photo editing, you need this software.
Yoast SEO: The plugin you need to optimize your WordPress site
Contact form7: This is a great contact form that I use several times on my websites.
Akismet: Most plugin to avoid spam comments on your blog posts
Click to tweet: Plugin that can be added to your WordPress or embed the code into your Squarespace website. This tool helps you create "tweetable" box.
SumoMe: Great free tool to help you increase your website traffic (share buttons, pop-up) You can install this tool on any website platform.
Memberspace: I never personally use this tool, but if you want to turn your Squarespace site into a membership site look at their option
Chatango: Live chat on your Squarespace site, perfect for live webinar.
Muut: I never use this forum feature, but it can be installed into your Squarespace platform
Adobe color: Free color palette tool, perfect to create your brand for your website. You can create a color palette with an image (click on the camera in the top right) to download an image.
Colorhunt: Color palette inspiration
Landing page / opt-in page
Leadpages: I use this service for all my landing pages. This service help me grow my email list and they offer great templates to help you design a high converting landing page and opt-in box.
OptimizePress theme: I used this theme when I had a WordPress website. The theme allows you to easily create landing pages (with no header or footer) to increase your email list.
Autoresponder / Email provider
Mailchimp: Online email marketing service to manage subscribers, send emails, and track results. Free when you have a small email list. (I personally use this service)
AWeber: Another online email marketing service to manage subscribers
Convertkit: I never used this email provider, but I heard good thing about it.
Infusionsoft: This is another online email marketing service to manage subscribers. I heard this email provider can be hard to understand at the beginning due to all the features.
Social media management tools
Hootsuite: Social media management. I use the free plan to schedule my Twitter account. (You can use up to 3 social media account with the free plan and have access to great features like analystic to see your social media progress.
Buffer: I never use this tool, but they have a good reputation to be another easy to use social management tool
Tailwind: This tool allows you to schedule your Pinterest pins. Click on the image below to sign for your free account.
BoardBooster: Another Pinterest scheduler that I heard good thing about it.
ShareASale: My number one affiliate program for any bloggers. No matter your niche ShareASale have different program for any blogger.
Conference / Webinar platforms
Google hangouts: A free conference/webinar platform. This worked like a charm if you want to start doing webinars, I highly recommend to start with the free tool.
WebinarJam: A powerful webinar software that allows you to create a beautiful landing page for your event.
Skype: Want I have one on one conversation with a client, I use this free online call software.
Pixabay: My favorite place to get free stock photos with hundreds of thousands of images
Stocksy: Free stock photos
Unsplash: Another great free stock photos platform
New old stock: Free vintage stock photos
Magdeleine: Free stock photos
Pexels: Free high-quality stock photos
PayPal: I use PayPal from day one and never had problems with this payment platform.
Square: Another payment platform (I never used it)
Stripe: Another payment platform (I never used it)
Camtesia: Screen sharing and video recording software. A little expensive, but a great powerful tool if you want create high quality video for your programs.
Screen-O-Matic: Easy to use screen sharing software. The free plan has a limited minutes of recording.
Movie maker: I used this free software often in pass to record and editing video.
Grammarly: Online proofreading tool
Calendly: I use the free plan of this tool to help my clients book appointments with me. This is a great tool if you work with people from all around the world.
Teachable: I never use this tool, but heard great thing. This can be a great option to create a platform for your clients to get their online courses.
Audacity: If you want to create a voice recording for a course or even start a podcast, this free audio recording and editing software is the way to go.
